Verdicchio Dei Castelli Di Jesi DOC
Verdicchio is one of the finest types of white wine we produce at our wine cellar and is exclusive to the Castelli di Jesi wine region of Le Marche Italy and has been produced on the vibrant hillsides vineyards of our historic winery since it was first established in 1850.
The name Verdicchio derives from “Verde” (or ‘green’) appropriately so, because of the strikingly radiant green reflections that the wine produces. The doc wine has a long history in the Marche region with historical references dating back to at least the 14th Century.
Typically Verdicchio is required to be 85% of the grape or higher to be considered a DOC wine, however our wine cellar has always ensured since our earliest vintages that 100% of the Verdicchio grape is used within our product to represent the true nature and charming character of this mono-varietal.

Wine Pairing
As a white wine, our verdicchio provides it's most complimentary flavours when paired with fish and white meat based dishes (ideally roasted of fried), further offering a unique quality in its acidity to cut through the oiliness of most sauces and marinades. Below is a list of principle dishes we recommend accompanying this wine:
- Olive Ascolane
- Sage Fettuccine
- Seafood Risotto
- Roasted Chicken served with Roast Potatoes
