Venere Oro (DOC)

Venere Oro is our limited edition Lacrima Di Morro D’Alba wine and part of our Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC) product range. This fine wine is only produced in well regarded vintages and comes from a hand picked first selection of some of the best grapes of our vines. The Lacrima is then blended with our Pinot Nero grape to delivery a fiery character that is fitting to its name 'Venere Oro', referring to the Roman Goddess Venus. 

The wine produced is then aged in barrels for a year and a further 6 months after bottling. This aging process provides the perfect amount of time for the two grapes to develop together and produce this award winning fine wine as recognised by Decanter. 

Grape Variety – Lacrima di Morro D'Alba, Pinot Nero 

Colour – Intense ruby red with violet reflections

Bouquet – Pleasantly aromatic and natural bouquet combining a delightful essence of fruits of the forest with detectable notes of rose petal.

Taste – A diversely characteristic version of the Lacrima Classico red wine. Offering to the palate a beautiful base of wild cherry, strawberries and blackberries with subtle hints of blueberry and infused with a finely balanced blend of violet and undertones of rose petal. Creates an enchantingly fiery palate with well balanced acidity and a firm but soft tannis.
